This place will always have a special spot in my heart. No matter which server we get, they're always friendly and welcoming and super accommodating. The food has always been excellent, especially the chorizo and eggs items. The restaurant has a very family atmosphere, as well. In fact, I'm still sitting here while writing this, and one of my drinks was just comped! Not because of the review, but just because. People are nothing but fantastic here.

Free chips and salsa while you’re reading the menus is the perfect start to the meal. The margaritas and strawberry daiquiris are excellent as well as you wait for your food. Portions are huge and there’s so many choices, everyone can find something specific to what they like and will likely have leftovers. They have hands down my favorite beans and most dishes come with beans and rice. Alex is the best waiter too!

Good food. Friendly waiters. But not a good place for the mobility challenged (lots of stairs). The parking lot is also a challenge (it's slanted, on a hill). It's worth braving the challenges, however, as the intimate atmosphere and good food and service make the trip worth it, to me.

The food was mediocre. Service was great but the food was prepared by a white guy who had know experience. Nothing original about it. Mexican food is better out of a food truck.
